Frequently Asked Questions

Sprinkle cupcakes

Where are you located?

I'm a cottage baker located in Cromwell, CT. I currently sell out of my home and at pop-up events.

Do you offer gluten free items?

Yes! As someone who has a family member with Celiac, I know how important it is to have gluten free options. However, this is NOT a dedicated gluten-free kitchen and there is a possibility of cross-contamination. If you have a medical necessity for gluten-free items, I suggest contacting a dedicated gluten-free bakery. If you simply need baked goods made with gluten-free ingredients, just let me know!

Can you match my color & inspiration pictures exactly?

Each cookier is an individual artist. While I gladly take inspiration photos to make sure the cookies are what you are looking for, they will have their own "Megan" touch to them, this makes them unique and custom just for you!

While every effort is made to match the colors that you send, colors viewed on computers & phones will differ. The cookies will be made as close as possible to the color sent, however I cannot guarantee that they will be an exact match.

Handmade Disclaimer

Your cookies & cupcakes are handmade with care (and love!), with attention to detail. Handmade items may contain small imperfections making the baked goods unique to you.

How far in advance should I order?

I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your party date. The time slots book quickly and I want to ensure that you are able to receive your baked goods for your special or just because occasion! I request at least a three week lead time, but it never hurts to submit a last minute request.

What is your refund policy?

A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required to hold the date & start the order. Returns & refunds are not accepted as these cookies & cupcakes are all custom made. If you have an issues or concerns, please email me at BellaBearBaking@gmail.com.

Can you ship your cookies?

Unfortunately due to Connecticut Cottage Food Business laws, I am unable to ship my baked goods. If you are ever in Connecticut, please feel free to contact us to try some tasty goodies!

2) Baked & Flooded

Royal icing is made & dyed specific to your order. This is then flooded on each cookie, which means it's covered with an even layer of icing.

3) Details added

Once the flood layer has dried, it's time to add the details. This includes any writing, florals, photos, gold paint & more.
